Christmas Tree Lighting!

Join us for our 3rd annual Old Fashioned Community Christmas Tree Lighting!

Enjoy free Food & Holiday Drinks, Pictures with Santa, Mrs. Claus, & Friends, Music, Family Fun, & Oceano Community Cheer!

Please bring a new unwrapped toy for kids 5-15 years old, benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of South SLO County.

Sunday November 26th from 4:30-6:30pm at the historic Oceano Depot!

Easter Egg Hunt, Saturday April 8th 2023 9:30am!

The Pismo Sands RV Resort & VACO are excited to present their Easter Celebration! Bring the kiddos for a morning of fun as they hunt for nearly 2000 Easter Eggs around the Resort along with seven Golden Eggs with prizes for adults!

Enjoy photos with the Easter Bunny after the hunt!

This is a free community event!

Holiday Decorating Contest!

Starting Sunday 11/27!

Nominate yourself, your friends, your family or your neighbors for our Contest!

Anyone who lives in Oceano is eligible to enter. The theme is open to your creativity! Please have your creations lit up and on by 5pm on Friday 12/16. Our panel of judges will tour through town that night and present the winners on 12/18!

Santa Comes to Town Caravan!

Sunday 12/11 starting at 3pm! - RESCHEDULED FOR SUNDAY 12/18

We're bringing back the jolly Oceano tradition! Santa and his friends will caravan through town spreading holiday cheer! Check out our route below & wave to Santa!

Community Tree Lighting!

Sunday 12/11 at 5pm!

After the caravan, head over to the Oceano Depot for an old fashioned Tree Lighting! Enjoy light refreshments, mingle with your neighbors, and bring the kiddos for pictures with Santa and friends!

The Oceano Depot is located at 1650 Front Street, Oceano. It's the beautiful historic building across front the Fire Department.

Join us for Oceano's Beachin' Holiday Season!

* Sunday November 28th - We're kicking off the Season with an Old Fashioned Tree Lighting at the Oceano Depot! The fun starts at 5pm, tree lighting at 5:30.

Enjoy seasonal treats with Santa, holiday tunes, and festivities while strolling around our Historical 1904 Landmark all decked out for the Holidays!

Festive Attire encouraged!

The Oceano Depot is located at 1650 Front Street in Oceano. Free parking at the adjoining lot or across the street behind the OCSD at 1655 Front Street.

There are 6 categories:

- Best Overall

- Best Beachin' Theme

- Best Lights

- Best Creativity

- Best Animation

- Supervisor Compton's Award

Santa's Elves will travel around town December 15- 18th for judging. Have your decorations on for viewing between 5pm-8pm those evenings!

If you're entering your business feel free to decorate inside or outside, an indoor display or window display. For residences, outside only please.

Winners will be announced on December 20th!

There will be 12 winners total, one winner from each category for Homes and Businesses!

Oceano pumpkin decorating contest 2021!

On 10/11/21 the Vitality Advisory Council of Oceano, VACO proudly presented the 1st Annual Oceano Pumpkin Decorating Contest!

Over 300 folks visited our historic seaside community as participating businesses displayed their creations!
