We serve as a collective voice for Oceano/Halcyon, offering recommendations to the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors. Our role includes submitting public comments on projects affecting the community and advising county agencies on whether to approve, deny, support, or oppose initiatives.
VACO is composed of dedicated residents and business owners who are passionate about preserving and enhancing the quality of life in Oceano and Halcyon. As volunteers, we take a hands-on approach, encouraging inclusive participation to ensure all voices are heard.
Guided by the Oceano Revitalization Plan, developed with input from residents and SLO County Planning, we focus on improvements that foster a more vibrant, pedestrian-friendly downtown along Highway 1.
We welcome and value community input! Your participation strengthens our collective vision and helps shape the future of Oceano and Halcyon. Together, we can build a thriving and connected community.
